Souheil Kechrid (188-G-78), Marouan Laghnej (190-G-86) and Walid Dhouibi (184-G-77) poured in a few three-point shots for J.S.Kairouan but were unable to find a loophole in the tight zone defense played by the hosts from the north of Tunisia.

Souheil Kechrid (188-G-78), Marouan Laghnej (190-G-86) and Walid Dhouibi (184-G-77) poured in a few three-point shots for J.S.Kairouan but were unable to find a loophole in the tight zone defense played by the hosts from the north of Tunisia. J.S.Kairouan kept on with the distance shooting and started to struggle from beyond the arc which led to easy points for Nabeul through the likes of Mohamed Hdidane (205-F-86), Amine Rezig (198-G/F-80), Salah M'Barek (201-C) and Majdi Maalaouli (202-C/F-77). By tuning up the speed in the last 20 minutes, SN pulled away when the J.S.Kairouan-starting five, which played mostly through the whole game, started to get tired and kept missing their distance shots and missed Atef Maoua (198-F-81) who not available to play for the guests. Nabeul now looks forward to win the Tunisian championship after coming in second last year.
AS Marsa and CA Bizertin are going down to National B
ASM and CAB lost their respective games and will be relegated to the second Tunisian division even though there is one more round to play.

Right now, the national championship saw some balanced matches where smaller teams made more than bother the bigger ones. They surprised them and made the last gameday eventful. Two unforeseen blows for championship contenders happened. CSC which outclassed EZS and ESR which dominated US Monastir.

In spite of the 9 points which separated both clubs, nothing of it dissuaded CSC which surpassed itself and made EZS compete for the whole game before tearing off finally with the well deserved win.
