Serabilo Boucari produced 5 points for Oresundskraft. In Game 2 Solna made a decisive push in the final stanza to overwhelm Oresundsktaft 87:82 away from home and tied the quarterfinal series at 1-1. The Vikings overcame a sizzling performance from Herman Favors and an early deficit to pull away with a vital victory. The hosts held on a 23:22 lead in the starting stanza and was not about to give it up easily. The Vikings nevertheless managed to surge ahead in the second period and arrived to halftime leading by 4 points. Oresundskraft kept it close throughout the third stanza trimming the deficit by one point. It gradually came up to the final seconds in this one but Solna survived due to some big shots from Rudy Mbemba and Lesli Myrthil. Rudy Mbemba provided 23 points, while Brandon McKnight added 19 for the Vikings. Lesli Myrthil had 13 points for the winning side. The home team answered with game-high 29 points from Herman Favors. Jens Stalhandske and Anders Ronndahl netted 12 points apiece in a loss. Serabilo Boucari poured in 2 points in the first game as the second-ranked Solna suddenly stumbled in the starting encounter of their quarterfinal matchup against Oresundskraft. In a nail-biting dramatic clash Oresundskraft pulled away with a narrow 80:79 victory to take the lead. The visitors looked better in the second and third frames of the game building a 15-point advantage heading into the fourth frame. But the Vikings denied it and had a chance to save the game. But Oresundsktaft withstood all the efforts from the hosts to break in front and succeeded in the end. Jens Stalhandske nailed 24 points to lead Oresundskraft. Johan Akesson added 15 points for the winners. Rudy Mbemba chipped in 26 points for Solna. Lesli Myrthil had 16 points in defeat.
After beating Swallow, the last champion, by 59-46, Racing of Lome his the new Togo national champion.
The championship is played in 3 days at the 'Lome Municipal Stade'.

Teams that confirmed participation are Swallows of Togo, ABC Abidijan of the Ivory Coast, Braves of Ceps of Ghana, NPA Pythons of Liberia, Ebun Comets Lagos from Nigeria and host teams Renaissance and Aspac of Benin.

In the other game, CBS faced Aiglons and the likes of Ogba Christian, Ayite Almeida and Michael Okorie on one side and Agnitey Adjete and Atayi Ayi on the other promised a tough match-up between the teams.

Aiglons led by 12 at halftime and managed to walk away with a 61-58 winner against ambitioned CBS.Still, team-captain Ayite of CBS hopes that his squad should bounce back from the loss and be a contender for the national championship.

The FBBB (Benin Basketball Federation) announced, that the regional (Departmental) championships are going to start from December 1st until February 28th in 2006.The national championships are slated for the period of two months between June 1st and July 30th 2006.
