Moroccan champions As de Sale signed for the coming season a new coaching staff. The new head coach will be the Bulgarian legend Georgi Mladenov (agency: Global Sports Plaza). He started last season at the helm of Lukoil Academic but after 7 consecutive victories and only two lost games decided to resign.
Mladenov will be assisted by Petar Markovic (agency: Global Sports Plaza ) and Petar Nastev . Nastev will also be the head coach of the youth teams and will run the youth program for the team

AS Sale is the winner of Moroccan championship for season 2009/10. ASS managed to beat Magrheb Fez in two straight games aggregating 162-140 victory. In Game One ASS celebrated 77-57 win, while in the second meeting ASS was better than MAF on the road 83-85.
ASS finished regular season on top of Group B with almost perfect 5-1 record. In the Playoff Semifinals they outplayed PAC with 2-0. On the other hand, MAF advanced to Playoffs as No.1 of Group A with 4-2 score

AS Sale win the Final opener as they overcame Maghreb Fez 77:57 at home. The winners started with 28-14 in the opening quarter and had 12-point advantage at the halftime. Due to 17-8 in the third period they managed to keep the lead and won the game. Game 2 is scheduled for June 26th.
