Obradoiro CAB agreed terms with 29-year old Gabonese forward Stephane Lasme (203-F-82, college: Massachusetts). Lasme played most recently at Maine Red Claws (D-League) in the U.S. While playing 10 games for Maine RC last season his stats were: 7.0ppg and 6.0rpg. He tried to sign in Europe last season. But despite negotiations with Spartak St.Petersburg in Russia went well, Lasme was unable to join the club due to technical issues regarding his green card application in the United States

Lasme played most recently at Maine Red Claws (D-League) in the U.S. While playing 10 games for Maine RC last season his stats were: 7.0ppg and 6.0rpg. He tried to sign in Europe last season. But despite negotiations with Spartak St.Petersburg in Russia went well, Lasme was unable to join the club due to technical issues regarding his green card application in the United States. Then he tried to make Boston Celtics roster before being cut, which ended with him playing in D-League. Lasme is a very experienced player. He played also pro basketball in Israel, Russia and Serbia. The last successful season was two years ago while Lasme played for Maccabi Tel-Aviv in Israel. He helped the team to win Israeli Cup and Israeli Regular Season, before they lost in the finals. Macacbi made that year to Euroleague Quarterfinals.

Stephane Lasme (203-F-82, college: Massachusetts) will continue his career in Spain. The Gabonese power forward signed a deal with Obradoiro CAB. He spent last season with the Maine Red Claws. Actually, Lasme supposed to play for Spartak St.Petersburg, but was unable to join the club in Russia due to technical issues regarding his green card application in the United States and then he moved to Boston Celtics. However, they parted ways before the any official game. Lasme joined the Red Claws in March averaging 7 points and 6 rebounds for 10 games in D-League. Season 2009/10, Stephane Lasme spent with Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv. They won the Israeli Cup together. Before that, Lasme played one season for Partizan Belgrade winning three trophies with them (Adriatic league, Serbian league, Serbian Cup). Lasme graduated at the University of Massachusetts in 2007.

Manga Basket de Moanda and Somo B Libreville will be heading to the finals after Manga Basket defeated Olympic Mandji 80-67 in the semis and Somo B Libreville did the same with Tongui (69-59).
Both final games will be played at the Henry Sylvoz Stadium in Moanda this Saturday and Sunday.
