Host Egypt and Nigeria will battle for the title of the 11th edition of the FIBA Africa Championship for U18 Women in todays final in Egyptian capital, Cairo at 18H00 Egyptian time.Both sides have kept a clean slate since the championship began ten days ago and to get to this stage Nigeria had the better of former champion, Mali by 57-44 points in the second semi-final while Egypt was 80-47 points better than Mozambique thus setting a grand finale stage against Nigeria

Nigeria had the better of Cote dIvoire on Sunday in a Group-B game of the 11th FIBA Africa Championship for Women with an 84-34 points victory in Cairo, Egypt.Nigeria Uju Ugoka led the floor with a double double effort of 23 points and 14 rebound, team Captain Ijeoma Uchendu added 16 points and 4 rebound while forward Temitope Oladele grabbed 16 rebound for the win.Nigeria will play her last group game against Congo DRC who has forfeited two games in the series

The Coaches Adewumi Aderemi and Peter Ahmedu tutored Nigerian side won in all four quarters by 17-02, 17-08, 22-18 and 28-06 respectively.
