Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (200-G/F-88) announced today that he would make himself eligible for the 2008 NBA Draft, but will not hire an agent,
thus leaving opened the possibility to come back next year as a senior. Mbah A Moute said he 'felt it was in his best interest to see
what the NBA has to offer.' Coach Ben Howland, described Mbah A Moute as the 'the most versatile defensive player' he has 'ever
coached' and 'supports him exploring his opportunity to play in the NBA.

But the big news now in the country is the 'SUSPENSION' of our federation by the FIBA.This news coming from a local newspaper which was informed by and international refree who have not saw his name on the international refree list and was told by and FIBA official that our country is suspende due to nonpaiement of cotisations since four years.The federation have denied this allegation but one thing is clear there is no cameroonians now on the FIBA international refrees list.

Villanova University of Frank Tchuisi (203-F/C-86) and Western Kentucky of Boris Siakam (201-F) (201-F) (201-F) were defeated respectively by Kansas University and UCLA.

The game opposing Western Kentucky saw Boris Siakam, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (200-G/F-88), Alfred Aboya (203-F/C-85), Frank Tchuisi and Alexis Wangmene (203-F/C-89) adamantly pursuing the win for their respective teams.
Boris Siakam remained faithful to the trend of effort and production he set as a standard since the begining of the tournament. Siakam, the Hilltoppers senior ended his collegiate career on a brave note by scoring 7pts and grabbing 7rbds in 28mns of playing time. Siakam undoubtedly gained the trust of his coach averaging 23.3mns per game and bringing 6.7pts and 4.7 rbds on the table throughout his three NCAA Tournament games. Boris Siakam surely gave an incredible boost to his basketball career by adding the NCAA Tournament to his resume. The eventuality of him getting a nice professianal contract his clearly envisageable given his solid performance at the NCAA Tournament.
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and UCLA took a substantial lead at the beginning of the game and never allowed Western Kentucky to come back. carried by the 29pts and 14rbds of Kevin Love (Kevin Love), the Bruins got themselves a ticket to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament and will be facing Xavier University. Mbah A Moute had 7pts and 7rbds in the game and Alfred Aboya who remains a key defensive player for the Bruins had 2pts in 5mns of playing time. The Final score was 88-78, UCLA. Frank Tchuisi, the Cameroonian junior, originally from Douala, saw his team, Villanova University, eliminated by a dominating Kansas University team. Tchuisi played 1 mn in the game and the final score was 57-72.
Alexis Wangmene and the Texas Longhorns overpwered Stanford University to advance to earn a spot in the Top 8 of the NCAA Tournament. Stanford lost by \
