Algeria in Group A
The national team ofAlgeria will play in Group A at the Arab Nations Cup in basketball, according to the results of the draw made yesterday in Beirut (Lebanon).
Besides Algeria, Group A also includes Tunisia (defending champion), Libya, Morocco, Kuwait and Egypt. Group B consists of Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, UAE, Sudan and Iraq

Karim Atamna (194-F-80) named French N1 Player of the Year as he looked great this season for his team. Moreover he was also named Eurobasket.com All-French N1 Forward of the Year, went into Eurobasket.com All-French N1 1st Team.

Groupe Sportif Petrolier win Play-off stage as the teams won all five games in it. The most excited and the most difficult win was achieved against CRB Dar El Beda on May 21st. Groupe Sportif Petrolier remained undefeated producing 75:73 win. In the last game of the play-offs the winners overcame ASPTT Alger 54:47. CRB Dar El Beda finished second with 4-1 record. WA Boufarik and NB Staoueli finished with 2-3 records each. Trefle BB Blida and ASPTT Alger reached only one victory
