Other players and personnel joined in and the brawl went to be pretty ugly.Now the national basketball federation (FABB) has to hand down harsh punishment on the players and clubs involved in the fight.

The nine-time champion and seven-time cup-winner is represented through president Ahmed Benyabou who told the press that players weren't paid starting the last five months of the last season.The Wilaya (like a federal state in Algeria) of Blida granted four million dinars to the local football-team and refused to support Widad Boufarik who are now on brink of folding.
