Turkey and Serbia are the first semifinalists - World Championships - Sep.8, 2010
Turkey - Slovenia 95-68 Turkey eased into the semifinal stage of the World Championship. The hosts of the tournament knocked down Slovenia in the second quarterfinal today. Turkey will face Serbia for the ticket into the championship game. The lead changed hands for several times early in the encounter. But soon Turkey went on an 11:1 run to take a 17:11 advantage. The hosts simply refused to miss shots as the margin grew at 27:14 at the break

I will start by saying it was one the most exciting experiences of my career so far to be in the World Championship. To be at the highest stage of basketball is amazing. Also, to be around the top players in the world and to see them and chat with them around the hotel was an unforgettable experience. As the last buzzer of the final game went off, I realized that its all over and this great experience that every player wants to be in has come to an end
